Duct Tape Marketing Example

You may have noticed that we updated our brand recently and as part of our overall strategy we have begun using this new logo in a variety of our processes. From invoicing to placing stamps delivery boxes. Part of our criteria has been to use it in a unique way that is very cost effective.

Duct Tape Marketing, you've either heard of it or you haven't. Most people in business will be able to tell you something about the subject. For us, we tried stickers, labels and fancy thank you cards and to be honest I've always thought there must be a better way. We brainstormed and came up with our current strategy. We like to call it our 'old school funky' way of Duc Tape Marketing our brand. How are we doing it? One word, stamps.

Old and tired? Definitely not, cool and retro? You bet! So instead of printing 500 stickers at a time for a $150 from our local printer we now order ink refills at $7 per 3000 impressions. That's a cost difference of 428 times! And we think it looks much better then a sticker.

We're also using a smaller version of this stamp on all our envelopes. Specifically the ones we use to email out paper invoices.

I wonder what other uses we could have for this great innovative technology (well it was innovative in 1736 when the first rubber stamp was made). Any suggestions are most welcome.
